About me

My name is Simon Dalferth and I am a PhD student at Jacobs University Bremen. My research analyses the changes ocurring in national crime fighting policy under conditions of increasing European integration. In order to assess these changes I analyse crime fighting policies in Germany and the UK. My supervisor is Markus Jachtenfuchs of the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.

In this blog I want add thoughts on my PhD and other research/work I am involved in.  It is meant to show interested others what I’m working on. The core of research is exchange. In making my ideas and thought public, I hope to foster some sort of exchange. If this blog gives other incentives for thought, I will be as happy as can be.
